There are many benefits to membership. Members may attend, free of charge, a variety of Writers Workshops, groups that meet one or more times a month throughout the county to read and critique manuscripts and discuss many aspects of the business and craft of writing. Members receive reduced contest entry fees. Their work may be published in the club's anthology, issued every other year.
Members also receive "The Write Stuff", our monthly newsletter. The newsletter publishes member articles and excerpts, fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, provides information on opportunities for writers, contests and events offered by other writers groups, detailed information on upcoming speakers, as well as other club activities such as our annual short-story and poetry contests, and our all-day writers' conference.
